AYM Presiding Clerk writes to government & industry leaders re: climate emergency

Australian Quakers' Presiding Clerk Ann Zubrick has written to government leaders and industry agencies urging them to acknowledge the climate emergency and inviting them to work together with Friends with kindness and clarity to mitigate some of the coming suffering.

It should not surprise anyone that suggestions included investing in life-affirming outcomes, such as divesting from fossil fuels at an early date, and steering away from other activities which undermine a stable and hospitableclimate. (Image: Extinction Rebellion/ABC)
