Sharing Across the Earth

Quakers in Australia and the UK are meeting in February to learn from each other about living our Earth testimony in this time of climate crisis.

Quaker Earth Witness (UK) and Quaker Earth Witness and Action Network (Australia) are creating a shared meeting on Zoom, on Wednesday, February 18th, at 8pm AEDT. Two speakers each from Australia and the UK will share the ways they live their Earth testimony. There will be opportunities for further sharing and discussion in breakout rooms.

The UK speakers are Rajan Naidu, who will share his experience with non-violent direct action; and Laurie Michaelis, who will discuss the development of the UK Quaker environmental movement. The Australian speakers are Jane Hope and Peri Coleman.

We are excited to create this space where we can find new ways to walk together amidst escalating planetary crises. We hope that this will be a recurring event which will foster deeper connections between Australian and UK Quakers.

The meeting is free to attend, but we ask that you register your interest by completing this form: https://forms.gle/mxTv2vdMZj736DDd8
