The Quaker Shop is an opportunity shop in Adelaide providing opportunity for everyone. The Quaker Shop celebrates 55 years of operation on 1 July 2023. We are the oldest charity shop in Adelaide. Run exclusively by unpaid volunteers.

 

 

Opening Hours: Monday – Saturday 10.00am – 4.00pm

Location: 51 Kensington Road, Norwood South. Adjacent to bus stop 2 on routes 140 (Wattle Park), 141 (Stonyfell) and 142 (Burnside)

The money raised is distributed to a number of charities including Quaker Service Australia and the Australian Refugee Association. Recipients live in Australia, Africa and Asia.

Saleable goods (not furniture or large electrical items) can be donated at the shop or placed in the bin near the Wattle Park shops.

Excess goods are passed on to other worthy causes.
