We belong to the Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC), which provides a loose affiliation of Quakers around the world. In some countries where Quaker numbers are small there might only be a Monthly (similar to Regional) Meeting or Local Meetings. These may join FWCC, which gives them the benefits and support of affiliation with a global body. Australian Quakers are part of the Asia/West Pacific Section of FWCC.

You can read Epistles from Friends around the world on the FWCC website by following this link.

FWCC represents Quakers on some global inter-church and inter-faith bodies and supports the Quaker United Nations Offices in New York and Geneva.

We are a member of Friends Peace Teams (FPT) which consists of Quakers from a number of Yearly Meetings, and are part of the Asia-West Pacific section. FPT believes that peace is possible when we practice peace and nonviolence in our private and public lives and record our experience in public record. The Asia-West Pacific section has contacts in a number of countries in the region and conducts training programs along the lines of the Alternatives to Violence Project.
