How we got here

These role descriptions have a long history. There was a review of our Secretary's workload in January-February 2022 (see here), followed by another working group, whose recommendations were accepted by Standing Committee in September 2022 (see Minute SC9.22.6 in this document). The graphic above is from their report (in the SC Agenda), which sets out how they felt the work currently done by the Secretary grouped itself - Administration, Compliance & Finance, and Community.

The present Working Group (sometimes known as 'Twig') started in October 2022. We were asked to develop role descriptions for the new Quakers Australia (QA) Office team. Our recommendations, including role descriptions, were accepted in January 2023 (see Minutes here of this meeting).
