Jane Walker Bequest Fund

About the fund

Jane Walker was a Member of Tasmania Regional Meeting (TRM) and generously bequeathed funds to enable TRM to address local needs and foster positive change.

Application process

We invite you to apply for funding using our simple two-page application form. The form, inspired by the successful 2A4 grant scheme (www.2a4.org), ensures a straightforward process. Find the application form here.

Applications may be submitted at any time. However, funding decisions are only made on the last Sunday of March and September each year. Applications submitted after these dates will be assessed in the following round of applications.

The fund supports projects related to Jane Walker’s key concerns, including but not limited to:

• Girls’education

• Refugees

• Peace

• Quaker concerns

• Carers’ respite

• Gardening

• Music

• Empowerment of both Quaker and non-Quaker initiatives

• Contribution to local and meaningful projects

How to apply

Complete both sides of the application form and submit it to the finance committee.

Note

Applications are open to projects executed primarily in Tasmania, Australia.
